Hanukkah, also commonly spelled Chanukah, is the Jewish festival of lights. It’s a holiday filled with lots of traditions, including the lighting of the menorah to commemorate the miracle that a one-day supply of oil lasted for eight days; playing the Dreidel game; and exchanging gifts with family and friends. But aside from the traditional games and activities frequently associated with Hanukkah (Chanukah), this eight-day event is also known for having lots of food.
